Desert Sunset

As the sun sets, desert life awakens. Cholla and saguaro stand silhouetted as a backdrop for what is about to unfold. They provide shelter for desert creatures during intense sunlight hours. Then, as the desert floor cools, screech owls, coyotes, kangaroo rats and many other desert dwellers emerge in search of supper and adventure.
