WHITE MOUNTAINS

Fall means experiencing a perfect Indian summer day hiking down a glorious yellow aspen-lined trail. A range extending over much of eastern Arizona, the White Mountains become a patchwork of color when large stands of aspen paint the countryside. Not only a recreational retreat, these mountains also serve as the watershed for many streams and rivers that supply Arizona with water.
