Crystal Mill

Withstanding the elements since 1892, the historic Crystal Mill sits precariously on a rock cliff overlooking the Crystal River. It is a remnant of the rip-roaring mining era when fortune seekers prospected for gold and silver in practically every Colorado River. Mining camps sprang up overnight, mineshafts dotted hillsides and mills became common along mountain streams.
