McCLURE PASS

Miles and miles of aspens carpet the mountain slopes surrounding McClure Pass. The colors shift like waves in a sea of brilliant yellow. This pass near the Ragged Wilderness traverses one of the largest stands of aspens imaginable. When conditions are just perfect and all leaves turn at once, it creates an autumn spectacle.
