Radiating red sandstone formations provide a spectacular foreground for the massive Pikes Peak. A natural landmark in Colorado, these unique rock structures have been eroding for over 300 million years. As Rufus Cable exclaimed in 1859, "...this is a place for the gods to assemble - a garden of the gods!"
