Alpine Purity

When one thinks of purity in our environment, the words alpine tundra usually come to mind because this is the beginning of our precious life-giving water. These areas support many life-forms, including the moss and monkey flowers shown here. While these plants are extremely hardy and able to exist in harsh surroundings, they are also quite sensitive to environmental change.
