Little Matterhorn

Piercing the cobalt blue sky, as if pointing to the heavens, the Little Matterhorn is a sharp spire rising to 7,886 feet. It is partially visible from the Avalanche Trail and is located near Sperry Glacier. Somewhat resembling the Matterhorn in Switzerland, this mountain is considered mostly a class 3 climb and becomes class 4 near its summit.
