Aspen Gold

Glowing yellow aspens create a colorful fall season at the North Rim. The shortened daylight hours mean plants generate less chlorophyll. Other leaf pigments, already present in the leaves, become visible. This sets the stage for brilliant autumn displays across the upper elevations of the park.
