Teton Range

Sheathed in snow, the expanse of the Teton Range is breathtaking. Glaciers sculptured these mountains and scoured the valley floor. Great outwash plains formed as water carried gravel and soils down the canyons. What began approximately 200,000 years ago is still at work today. In glacial cirques, the pocketing of rugged basins continues to undercut the rock.
