OXBOW BEND

Summer along the Snake River near Oxbow Bend is an active time for wildlife. This slow-moving shallow water provides excellent conditions for willows and aquatic plants to flourish. Oxbow Bend attracts great blue heron, osprey, trumpeter swan, Canada geese, and a variety of ducks. Moose, deer and coyotes also frequent its shores.
