Due to the magnitude of the Teton Range, storms can occur anytime. These mountains can create their own weather and generate sudden, violent outbursts, even as a brilliant sunset is unfolding. Experiencing this red-orange light radiating onto a slightly blue-green sagebrush valley, one can scarcely imagine any place as impressive as the Tetons.
