MARSH MARIGOLD

This large white buttercup-like flower grows in high alpine meadows. Each stem supports a single flower with shiny, dark green leaves at its base. Marsh marigolds can be found in dense blooms during early summer. They are water-loving plants that carpet stream banks and forest meadows.
