GLACIER PARK

Mantled with snow, Mount Gould rises magnificently above a partially frozen Swiftcurrent Lake. In Glacier Park, winter may last seven or more months. Arctic-like winds can howl down this jagged crest of the Continental Divide resulting in dramatic snow cornices. Grinnell Glacier lies in a north-facing cirque below Mount Gould.
