TRAPPER PEAK

Rising like a cathedral to the heavens, Trapper Peak sits impressively at 10,157 feet on the Continental Divide. The Bitterroot Range near Hamilton is Montana's largest chain of mountains and extends along the state's western boundary. An enormous drainage area for both sides of the Divide, the rugged terrain of the Bitterroots contains numerous granite spires.
