PALE AGOSERIS

A member of the Sunflower family, pale agoseris grows from a basal cluster of leaves and has bright yellow ray flowerheads. It is found in open fields bordering coniferous forests and flowers from May through September. After blooming, pale agoseris produces a seed-like fruit artistically fringed with five silvery bristles.
