CAPE PERPETUA

Afternoon sun highlights and silhouettes a picturesque seaside setting near Cape Perpetua. This high headland on the central Oregon Coast was sighted and named by Captain James Cook in 1778. It happened on March 7th -Saint Perpetua's Day. Trails lead down from the stone overlook to the base of the cape known as Devil's Churn.
