Wahkeena Falls

Discovered among a lush, mossy hideaway, Wahkeena Falls gushes with spring runoff. Its fine misting replenishes the rainforest-type plants with constant moisture. Located a half mile from Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, this 242-foot tiered waterfall was named in 1915. Wahkeena is a Yakima Indian word meaning "most beautiful."
