Built in 1873, the Yaquina Lighthouse is prominently situated along Oregon's Pacific seashore. Its impressive stance on Yaquina Head, a rock outcropping that juts into the ocean near Newport, not only provides an exceptional viewpoint, but also serves as a beacon to forewarn seafaring vessels.
