Extending across the heartland of Oregon and encompassing national forest lands as well as wilderness areas, the Cascade Range is the essence of the Pacific Northwest. Panoramic winter scenery can be experienced from the Pacific Crest Trail. This heavily forested range forms a north-south mountain barrier that spans from British Columbia to Northern California.
