An early morning reflection on Stanley Lake reflects the lingering wisps of fog around McGowan Peak. This is the heart of the magnificent Sawtooth National Recreation Area which encompasses 750,000 acres of prime scenic and historic country. It is a place of pure silence, crisp clean air, incredible scenery and where wildlife ventures to the lake for a drink.
