BEAVER PONDS

Often seen working through the twilight hours, beavers seem to rarely rest. Winter is never too far away and the park's largest rodents are always busy preparing for it. A great deal of time is spent chiseling aspen trees, hauling logs, trimming and fitting branches in order to construct a suitable lodge or dam.
