Valley Of The Ten Peaks

Eloquently reflected in the turquoise-studded Moraine Lake, Wenkchemma Peaks display a spectacular setting. The Stoney Indian word, Wenkchemma, means ten. Valley of the Ten Peaks is located within the Bow Range, near Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. Seeking exploration and adventure during the 1890's, mountaineers journeyed to this treacherous country to scale the unclimbed pinnacles towering above the lake.
