CLARKS FORK OF THE YELLOWSTONE

The rushing waters of the Clarks Fork enhance a bright, summer day as clouds begin to gather for an afternoon thunder shower. Flowing from this high mountain country along the Montana/Wyoming border, the Clarks Fork eventually joins the Yellowstone River near Laurel. At 11,708 feet, Pilot Peak is visible behind a stand of evergreens in Beartooth Country.
