ARCHES NATIONAL PARK

Heartland of red rock country, Arches National Park contains a large variety of arches. Composed of sand deposited millions of years ago, this exposed rock has been eroded and chiseled into graceful arches such as Delicate Arch. Continuous weathering helped create a national amphitheater from which to display the grandeur of the LaSal Mountains.
