Timpanogos Wilderness

Designated in 1984, Timpanogos Wilderness encompasses 10,750 acres of national forest land. Cloaked in white, Mt. Timpanogos rises to 11,750 feet and is the prominent peak in this wilderness area. Spectacular views of the majestic mountain can be experienced from the Alpine Scenic Loop near Sundance. Winter access is by skis or snowshoes.
