Cascading from springs and storm runoff, small streams are transformed into misty waterfalls along the Emerald Pools Trail. Ranging in size from small seeps to raging torrents, water seeks a pathway to the main canyon from high sandstone cliffs. In this way, erosion continues to carve the canyon artistry of Zion National Park.
