RACCOON

Mostly nocturnal, the raccoon rummages searching for food. It feeds along streams uncovering morsels such as insects, frogs and crayfish, and then finishes the meal with tasty fruits or nuts. Raccoons usually wash their food before eating. They can easily be recognized by the black mask over their eyes and their distinctive ringed tails.
