STEAMBOAT ROCK STATE PARK

Filled in the 1950's to provide irrigation water to the Columbia Basin, Banks Lake has become a 31-mile-long reservoir. The lake is a great walleye and bass fishing mecca. Exploring among lichen-covered rocks, relaxing on sandy beaches or enjoying a day of boating makes a visit to Steamboat Rock State Park worthwhile.
