Yosemite possesses one of the grandest collection of waterfalls in this country. Carved by glaciers, spectacular hanging valleys are encircled with mammoth granite cliffs. As deep winter snows melt, rushing streams converge and descend over these sheer rock walls as magnificent waterfalls.
