Mount Rainier National Park

A picturesque setting of Mount Rainier is created by an old snag. As cool summer breezes sweep down from this immense mountain, wildflowers bloom in the high alpine meadows. Mount Rainier dominates the skyline at 14,410 feet. A symbol of the Northwest, Mount Rainier was established as a national park in 1899.
