The solitude of a Grand Teton winter is reflected in Jenny Lake. Like white cathedrals, the ageless beauty of the Teton Range enhances Jenny Lake. The lake was named to honor Jenny, the Shoshoni wife of Beaver Dick Leigh who served as a guide for the Hayden Expedition in 1872.
