Colorful blooms of Lewis monkeyflowers artistically grace fronds of bracken fern in lush meadows. Monkeyflowers prefer moist soils along springs and streams. They usually bloom throughout the summer depending on location and elevation. This plant was named after Captain Lewis of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
