Bald Eagle

The unmistakable prominent white head peering through brush distinguishes this bird as a bald eagle. Its mature plumage consists of white head and tail with a large dark brown body. Primarily a fish eater, the bald eagle inhabits seacoasts, large lakes and rivers. This symbol of America is a cherished sight soaring in the sky.
