The Tetons

An old uprooted snag provides a picturesque setting on Jackson Lake at the base of the Tetons. Located on the eastern side of the lake, Hermitage Point is a large extension of land near Elk Island. It was once intended as a site for a lodge or hermitage in the early 1900's. Today, it has become a backcountry destination for hikers and boaters.
