WUPATKI NATIONAL MONUMENT

Located in Northern Arizona, Lomaki is one of the major ruins found in the monument. It was, in 1100 A.D. when Sinagua and Anasazi Indians farmed the rich volcanic soils at the base of the San Francisco Peaks. Designed in a multi-story array, structures were built of Moenkopi Sandstone.
