OLD FAITHFUL

Yellowstone's most famous geyser, Old Faithful, erupts almost as regularly as a timepiece. Eruptions release a terrific hissing sound and fountains of steam shoot approximately 175 feet upwards into the sky. This spectacle becomes even more incredible in winter when the scalding hot plumes interact with an icy cold atmosphere.
