Nothing evokes the essence of winter's pure, white stillness than experiencing a subzero day in Hayden Valley. This sweeping pan-orama is created by the broad meanders of the Yellowstone River. As winter sets in, the river slows its pace and the whole valley seems to be tucked under a blanket of white.
