Mcclure Pass

Miles and miles of aspens carpet the mountain slopes surround-ing McClure Pass. The colors are like waves in a sea of brilliant yellow. This pass near the Ragged Wilderness traverses the largest stand of aspens imaginable. When conditions are just perfect and all leaves turn at once, it creates an autumn spectacle.
