MISSION SAN XAVIER del BAG

Established by Father Kino in 1700, the original mission built by this Jesuit missionary was burned to the ground during the Pirna Revolt of 11 SI. Rebuilt by the Franciscans in 1797, Mission San Xavier del Bac stands as a heritage to early Spanish explorers and missionaries that ventured into the Southwest in search of the legendary Seven Cities of Gold.
