East Rim

As viewed from the East Rim, changing light in the late after-noon accentuates the vastness of the Grand Canyon. The trail system throughout the park is not only extensive, but also uncovers colorful tales. One prospector was rumored to have buried Dutch ovens loaded with gold in the Canyon. The gold still remains hidden.
