YAKI POINT

An old, gnarled juniper tree creates an artistic foreground for the dramatic Canyon expanse. Spectacular views of the many temples, buttes and spires are visible from Yaki Point. At an elevation of 7250 feet, this point was named for the Yaki Indians of Mexico. This is where the Kaibab Trail descends into the Canyon.
