Crimson Columbine

Hummingbirds delight in stealing nectar from crimson columbine. Nectar is stored in yellow-rimmed undersides that have scalloped openings shaped like sugar scoops. Artistically designed with red petals and sepals that resemble a circle of doves, this delicate flower's Latin name means doves.
