The Grand

With bright yellow flowers and a large sunlit boulder enhancing this towering granite peak, the Grand Teton displays its immen-sity. It rises to an elevation of 13,770 feet and dominates the range. John Colter was perhaps the first mountain man to view the Grand Teton in 1808, but French-Canadian trappers actu-ally named the mountain.
