LOCHSA RIVER

A great escape for fishing and camping can be found along the banks of the Lochsa River. This wild and scenic river, which flows along the northern edge of the Selway-Bttterroot Wilderness, eventually empties into the Clearwater River near Kooskia. Gushing with white-water rapids in early summer, the Lochsa attracts experienced rafters.
