Containing miles of pastoral river scenery, the Panhandle Historic Rivers Passage follows the northern shore of the Pend Orielle River until Sandpoint. Recreation areas and access along the river's gently flowing waters provide ideal places for fishing, wildlife viewing, boating and relaxation.
