FLATHEAD LAKE

Last remnants of fall linger on Flathead Lake- Long summer days at the lake give way to early evening strolls along the shores, as trees become silhouetted by the setting sun. Days are mild and warmed by the water's reflected light. Soon, the last leaf will fall and the first snows of winter will crystallize its hanks.
