Death Valley

Extending along the California-Nevada border, Death Valley becomes the prominent feature outlined by the Amargosa Desert. Miles of rippled sand dunes extend across this parched desert environment where temperatures can reach over 120¡F. An iso-lated road snakes through the Bullfrog Hills and Titus Canyon opening into the vast Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes.
