Fairyslippers

Appearing soon after snow melts in boggy areas, fairyslippers are delicate single-flowered orchids. Also known as calypso orchids, they prefer evergreen forests and can be discovered on or near decaying stumps and logs in shady hideaways. These flowers are rare and should not be picked, but rather admired for their exquisite beauty.
