HALLETT PEAK

As fierce winds subside, the passing storm leaves a crystal white mountain paradise. The rock-walled face of Hallett Peak peers from within lingering clouds along the Continental Divide. Named for William L. Hallett, a noted mountaineer in the park who helped establish Colorado's first climbing club in 1896, this peak rises prominently to 12,713 feet.
