ROCK CUT ON TRAIL RIDGE

Above treeline exists a stark arctic tundra environment. Trail Ridge Road follows the trail once used by Ute and Arapaho Indians. This landscape has been sculpted by glaciers and is continually influenced by hurricane-force winter winds. At Rock Cut, breathtaking views thousands of feet below are dramatically exposed.
