GLACIER CREEK

Undergrowth becomes green and rushing streams flood their banks announcing spring has arrived. Glacier Creek gushes from high country snowmelt originating above Glacier Gorge. Its erosional force is a reminder of the continual role water plays in carving this park. Glacier Creek descends swiftly into Glacier Basin, eventually joining the Big Thompson River.
