Trail Ridge

When viewed from these fragile, flowering alpine meadows, Trail Ridge spans across the high mountain plateau of Rocky Mountain National Park. One of the major reasons it was designated a national park in 1915 was its expansive arctic tundra environment. This high tundra world exists above treeline.
